Oyo Lawmaker, Olayanju Charges PolyIbadan Ascom Executives On Truthfulness In Their Administration

Honourable representing Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency in the Oyo state House Of Assembly, Hon. Kazeem Olayanju Orelope on Wednesday charges the Executive arm of the Mass Communication department, The Polytechnic, Ibadan to be trustworthy in the affairs of managing students welfare and other activities as he believes the attitude will surely reflect in the future.

Olayanju who doubles as the Chairman House Committee on Information, said this while receiving the executives of the department who paid him a courtesy visit to congratulate him on his Appeal Court victory and inviting him to be the Chairman of the Association of Student Communicator.

"As one of you who served in the Student Union Government capacity, I will advised you to be truthful in your governance because you don't know where you will be tomorrow and what you do today will use against you tomorrow" 

He further promised to take a critical look into the proposed community radio of the institution adding that the journey of a communicator without practicals is useless.

The President of the Association, Com. Haadi Afeez Ishola while giving his remarks expressed his profound gratitude on behalf of the association,

Haadi, who enjoined the Honourable member not to forget his origin, explained that the association have decided to make Hon. Kozeem Olayanju the patron of the association because he is a man of good legacy and the one majority look up to as a friend to all.

Kehinde Ayanboade gathered that other members of the executive present at the meeting are the Financial Secretary, Com. Ogundele Ayodele, the Public Relation Officer, Com. Opawole Endurance, Treasurer, Com. Sowemimo Abiola, the Welfare Director, Com. Ajibade Ayomide, Assistant General Secretary, Com. Muhammed Hismaheel, Sport Director, Com. Yusuf Lanre and the Social Director, Com. Ayinla Aliu.

Vice Chairman of the Oyo State House Of Assembly Media Correspondents and reporter of Premier FM 93.5, Mr. Mosope Kehinde, Treasurer, Kunle Ghazali from PMParrot Magazine, Akinlabi Afolabi and other newsmen from Heritage Television were also on seat at the meeting.
