Sallah: "Pray For Ogbomoso's Peace and Progress" Ogbomoso Central LCDA Chairman, Adeyinka Urges Muslims

Chairman for Ogbomoso Central LCDA, Hon. Adeyinka Oluwaseun has Felicitates with the entire Muslims in Ogbomoso, Oyo State and Nigeria on the occasion of the Eid - el - Kabir (Ileya) festival.

The Chairman who sent his wishes to the Muslim community made this known in a press release made available to Newsmen maintained that the Eid Kabir Celebration is set to honour Prophet Ibrahim who  obediently sacrifice his son to worship Allah. 

Hon. Adeyinka added that Muslims should use the opportunity of the holy moment to seek God's favor to pray for themselves, their households and the peace of  and progress of Ogbomoso Land. 

The release reads "I wish to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir Celebration. This special occasion singularly honours the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son, Ismael as an act of absolute obedience to God's command". 

"We owe ourselves a duty to maximize the opportunities provided by God to seek His face and obtain His favours by praying for ourselves, family and not forgetting to pray for peace and progress of Ogbomoso, Oyo State and Nigeria especially at this critical period of the ravaging pandemic". 

"I however so much believe that, with efforts put in place by the Governor Seyi Makinde led administration  to tackle the pandemic, we will defeat it soon and come out of it stronger and better". 

"I hereby call on all Muslims to emulate the virtuous life of total obedience, love, justice, and self-sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim as we celebrate the Eid-El-Kabir".
