Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan have cleared the doubt of students as they revealed that the institution recorded no case of COVID-19.
The citadel of learning made this development known through the Institution's Public Relations Officer, Alh. Soladoye Adewole in a telephone interview with Naija Metro News publisher, while reacting to a news flying around that a tertiary institution have been shut down by the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force after recording a case of COVID-19, an action which developed fear in the students of the school.
Alh. Soladoye also maintained that The Polytechnic, Ibadan in a bid to get rid of the novel virus totally have commenced the Post COVID-19 Fumigation in the school.
"The school affected is not The Polytechnic, Ibadan. We are not a college, You can nose round to find out the school affected.
Infact, We have commenced a Post COVID-19 fumigation across the school premises on Friday." Alh. Soladoye told Kehinde Ayanboade.
Meanwhile, The First Semester Examination for the 2019/2020 session for the HND2 and ND1 students of the Faculty of Business and Communication Studies (FBCS) and Faculty of Environment Studies (FES) continues on Monday.
