Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has expressed her sympathy with Fresh FM Chairman, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, members of staffs and family and well wishers on the demise of Fresh FM Ado - Ekiti General Manager, David Ajiboye.
Authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan who described Late Ajiboye as a "Friendly Personality and Dependable Ally" in a Press Statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Theresa Fawale and made available to newsmen by the Institution's Public Relations Officer, Alh. Soladoye Adewole maintained that the sudden death of Late David Ajiboye was a shock for the institution.
It could be recalled that the General Manager for Fresh FM in Ado Ekiti, David Ajiboye died in Ibadan on Sunday, 8th of August, 2021 after a brief illness.
The condolence remark by The Polytechnic, Ibadan with the title "SUDDEN DEATH OF THE RAVING STAR AND YOUR DEPENDABLE ALLY, DAVID AJIBOYE: ACCEPT OUR CONDOLENCES" reads;
"On behalf of the Chairman of our Governing Council, Prof. Kunle Akinyemi, Members of Council, the Rector, Prof Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi, the Management, Staff and Students, i wrote to condole with you, the entire Management and Staff of Fresh FM on the sudden death of Mr. David Abeye, the General Manager of Fresh FM in Ado-Ekiti.
"The news of the sudden death of this young and dynamic Media Operator and Administrator who was not only your staff but also your personal friend hit The Polytechnic, Ibadan like a thunderbolt. He was a very friendly personality, gentle and unassuming and no doubt contributed to the uplifting of the Fresh FM to its present status.
"We pray to God to console you, the entire Fresh FM Management and Staff, his parents, spouse, children and indeed his entire family, friends and well-wishers. Accept our deepest condolences".
Alh. Soladoye in a similar development noted that the shock of Late Ajiboye's death rendered him sleepless adding that he's a vibrant young man whom he will miss so dearly.
