2027 Election Will Be Walkover for Tinubu - Obasa Boasts

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure an easy victory in the 2027 general elections.

Obasa made the declaration during the launch of “Tinubu 2027” in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), where residents reaffirmed their support for the president’s re-election bid.

The rally, held at the council’s playing ground, drew politicians, traditional rulers and community leaders who pledged loyalty to the president and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Commending Ojokoro for taking the lead in grassroots mobilisation, Obasa urged residents to step up advocacy for the collection of permanent voter cards (PVCs). 

He also appealed for peace and unity within the APC ahead of the next election cycle.

Obasa said: “The president is doing wonderfully well. Within two years his achievements are unprecedented, we can imagine what more he will still do.

“Let’s play our parts by being available to our people and by drawing them closer. If we do this, I am sure the election will be a walkover for APC and President Bola Tinubu come 2027.”

The coordinator of the initiative, Hon. Emmanuel Olotu, who represents Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency II, said the project was designed to show that Ojokoro remains a bastion of support for the president.

Olotu, who chairs the House Committee on Agriculture, added that structures had been put in place to mobilise massive backing for Tinubu, saying, “Indeed, a good turn deserves another.”
