Award-winning Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe is currently in the mood of mourning following the death of her mother, Abisola Grace Owodunni.
The actress announced the loss in an Instagram post on September 24, 2025, with a candle emoji and a love symbol, conveying what she described as an “irreplaceable void” and their “deep connection.”
It was gathered that during her lifetime, Abisola Grace Owodunni was a businesswoman who managed a supermarket and was known for her strict but loving parenting.
Mercy has often said her mother taught her “valuable life lessons, emphasizing the importance of sacrifice and selflessness,” frequently expressing gratitude for her guidance and support.
