Superstar Nigerian rap legend, Olamide Adedeji has spoken about his relationship with fellow Afrobeats icons, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
The YBNL label boss, during a chat with Adesope Live, described the trio as good friends but admitted they can be “a bit troublesome.”
Olamide explained that while they are “cool guys,” they don’t always share the same perspective on certain matters, and that’s perfectly okay.
“They’re just a little too playful sometimes. We don’t necessarily agree on everything, and that’s fine.”
Addressing the recurring debate around Afrobeats’ so-called “Big Three,” which usually refers to Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, Olamide added that he has no concerns about being left out of the ranking. His priority, he emphasized, remains creating music rather than chasing titles.
