Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful for Akinyele Local Government constituency 1, Hon. Fadare Blessing has publicly reaffirmed his solidarity with His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, in light of the unfounded and misleading accusations and responses made by Minister Nyesom Wike during his recent end-of-year media engagement.
Fadare who is a proud son of Akinyele LG, in a release made available to newsmen by his media division noted that “Minister Wike’s comments not only lack substance but also reveal a troubling inconsistency in his political allegiances. By openly endorsing the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate for 2027 General Elections, while remaining an active member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), this act also proves his dismissal from the PDP is Valid and reasonable, he has not only undermined the integrity of our party but has also betrayed the trust of the constituents who believe in our vision for a better Nigeria.
Hon. Fadare stated, “The remarks made by Minister Wike are not just an attack on Governor Makinde, but they represent a broader attempt to sow discord within the PDP. His actions expose him as a corrupt politician who prioritizes personal ambition over the collective welfare of our party and the people we serve.”
“As we reflect on the achievements of the Makinde administration, ranging from infrastructural development to educational reforms and many more , it is clear that our focus must remain on the progress we are making for the people of Oyo State. The distractions created by individuals who have lost their way will not deter us from our mission.
“We urge all members of the PDP to remain united and focused on our shared goals. We are committed to fostering an environment of transparency, accountability, and service to the people. Our party has always stood for the values of Democracy and justice, and we will not allow the actions of a few to derail our commitment.”
