Driver Disappears With Employer’s Lexus Jeep Three Weeks After Resuming Work in Lagos

A driver, Olunowo Olumide Ogunyemi, has allegedly absconded with his employer’s Lexus GX460, barely three weeks after he was employed in Lagos.

The vehicle, with registration number KJA 123 CX, was reportedly taken last week when the owner made a brief stop to visit a friend in the Lekki area of the state.

According to an SOS message released by the vehicle owner, Ogunyemi, 48, whose last known address is 6, Engineer Olaitan Street, Iyana Ipaja, was employed as a driver only last month.

The suspect, who hails from Odogbolu in Ogun State, has reportedly been on the run since the incident.

“Please, if you encounter him, kindly inform the nearest police station. We are appealing that this information be shared widely across all platforms, groups and social media to prevent others from falling victim to a similar situation,” the owner said.

The owner also urged anyone with credible information about Ogunyemi’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police division.
