Popular Nollywood actress, Eriata Ese has expressed frustration over Nigerian business owners who frequently overprice their products.
Sharing her experience on social media, Eriata revealed that a vendor attempted to sell her an item valued at $150 for a staggering 1.1 million Naira.
She criticized this practice, describing it as a growing trend and accusing some business owners of behaving like fraudsters.
”I don’t know why some Nigerian business owners act worse than yahoo boys. I saw this removable veneers online, some dental clinic package the thing, making it look like a procedure were they have to measure your teeth to customize the removable veneers Now random vendors don Dey sell am. Apparently I made inquiries because I wanted to get one and I was charged 1.1m. now it’s on the street of Instagram being sold around 800k-850k So out of curiosity, I went to one chinko(china) app just to check if I’ll see it there, only to realize it’s being sold for $150 on the app. If you like tell me it’s not the same thing, no wahala. I won’t argue. you are correct,” she stated.
