A lecturer with the Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Anselm Victory Ojodomo has died on Thursday after he slumped while teaching his students, throwing the academic community into deep mourning.
He was said to be delivering a lecture to his students when he unexpectedly collapsed in the classroom, leaving those present in shock and distress.
Immediate efforts were made to save his life. He was quickly attended to by colleagues and concerned individuals before being rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent medical attention. Despite the swift response and the best efforts of medical personnel, he sadly did not survive.
