Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, on Friday, assured the immediate past Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, that the government is working hard to rescue his kidnapped sister and her two sons.

Governor Makinde gave the assurance when he paid a visit to Adelabu, sympathising with the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and his family over the kidnap incident.
According to the governor in a release signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the visit was meant to brief the former Minister on what the government is doing to ensure the safe return of his sister and her sons.
Addressing newsmen, Governor Makinde said: “You are all aware of what happened to the younger sister of my dear brother, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu.
“I actually came to brief him on what the government has been doing regarding that incident.
“My visit is also to let him know that by the grace of God, we will bring her and her sons back.”
