Goddessa, Araga Shared First Kiss on BBNaija Season 11

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemates, Goddessa and Araga have sparked controversy on social media after sharing the first on-screen kiss of the season.

A video from the reality TV show’s live feed, which has since circulated widely online, showed the pair kissing while lying under the covers.

The moment comes days after the two housemates were seen bonding in the house, fuelling conversations among viewers about a possible romantic relationship.

Their growing closeness comes less than a week after the July 26 premiere of Season 11, which introduced 24 housemates competing for a record prize package worth N160 million.

The reality TV show is expected to run for about 10 weeks, with the winner receiving N100 million in cash, an SUV and other sponsored rewards.

The kiss has also drawn attention because Goddessa had said during her introduction on the premiere night on July 26 that she was not entering the Big Brother house to find love.

Reactions have continued to trail the development, with viewers expressing different opinions about the early romance.

One X user, Unwana (@Iam_sistabibi), wrote: “First kiss of the season. Goddessa and Araga.”

Another user, Ademola (@Ajagbe00), commented: “When did ARAGA and Goddessa ship started and we don’t know #BBNaija,”

On her part, Emerald Lily (@Lilian_Akin) said she preferred the pair to “gravitate towards each other naturally”.

Araga, a 29-year-old fashion model, and Goddessa, a 30 year old musician from Abia State, were among the 24 contestants unveiled by host Ebuka Obi Uchendu during the launch show. Since entering the house, their interactions have attracted attention from viewers, making them one of the first pairs to generate conversations about a possible relationship this season.

The kiss comes as the show continues to gather momentum with its first week twist, “The Gambit”, under which one male and one female housemate will earn automatic places in the finale but will not be eligible to win the grand prize. The twist also means there will be no eviction during the opening week of the competition.
