Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest Federal Constituency, Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola, has officially launched his campaign for the 2027 House of Representatives election, unveiling a five-pillar manifesto focused on infrastructure, housing, human capital development, informal labour and social welfare.

Fatola unveiled the manifesto, tagged “Tes’ojue: The Covenant Code,” at the PDP State Secretariat in Molete, Ibadan, where party leaders, elders, state executives, members and other candidates contesting various elective positions were in attendance.
Speaking at the event, Fatola said his ambition was driven by his commitment to grassroots development, effective representation and improved welfare for constituents.
He said residents of the constituency were tired of unfulfilled political promises, adding that his campaign would be centred on issues affecting the people. PoliticalRepresentation Advocacy
Fatola pledged that, if elected in 2027, the interests of his constituents would remain his priority and that he would work to address the challenges confronting them.
He also said his professional background and experience made him suitable for the position, urging constituents to hold him accountable for the commitments contained in his manifesto.
Under the first pillar, Infrastructure and Community Development, Fatola proposed river channel expansion, drainage construction, slum infrastructure modernisation, and the development of community sports and recreation hubs.
The second pillar, Housing and Protection, focuses on strengthening regulation in the real estate sector. Proposed measures include real estate agents’ regulatory legislation, mandatory licensing and examinations, bi-annual licence renewal oversight and enforcement against exploitation.
The third pillar, Human Capital and Empowerment, is aimed at expanding opportunities for constituents, while the fourth pillar, Informal Labour, focuses on addressing the needs and challenges of workers operating within the informal sector.
The fifth pillar, Social Inclusion and Welfare, seeks to ensure that vulnerable members of the constituency receive appropriate support and are not left behind.
Fatola also pledged to deploy his professional experience, entrepreneurial exposure and international business connections towards the development of the constituency if elected.
A trained sociologist and alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Fatola has over 30 years of experience spanning real estate, hospitality, education and entertainment.
He holds active real estate brokerage licences in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma in the United States. He is also a commissioned Notary Public in Maryland and a licensed Title Insurance Producer.
Fatola is the Chief Executive Officer of Real Builders LLC in the United States and Cliques Luxury Apartments in Ibadan. He is also the founder and proprietor of Fortune Heights School, Ijokodo, and principal lead of Cliques Entertainment.
In sports and grassroots engagement, the Otonga Football Team had earlier declared its support for Fatola, while he pledged to identify with the team and provide necessary support for its activities.
