The Bimbo Adekanmbi Governorship Campaign Council of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State has appointed members of its Media and Publicity Committee ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The appointments include Mr Yinka Oladoyinbo as Director of Communication and Spokesperson, while Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju was named Co-Director and Spokesperson.
Ms Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa, Mr Dapo Falade, Mrs Bosede Sodiq, Mr Moses Alao and Mr Fisayo Daramola were appointed Deputy Directors of the committee.
According to a statement signed by the Bimbo Adekanmbi Campaign Council and dated September 26, 2026, all the appointments take immediate effect.
Oladoyinbo is a Deputy Editor of the Nigerian Tribune and has 27 years of post-qualification experience in journalism. He has worked with Daily Trust and The Punch, where he served as State Correspondent in Lagos, Ondo and Kogi States.
He is also a grassroots politician and recently served as Secretary of Ibadan South West Local Government. He currently heads the Politics Desk of the Nigerian Tribune.
Giwa-Onafuwa is a radio and television broadcast media professional with over 16 years of experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan and has twice served as a General Manager in broadcast media.
She is also a TEDx speaker, professional master of ceremonies and content creator, and serves on the boards of Educare Trust and Alliance Française Ibadan.
Falade has over 20 years of experience in journalism and politics and rose to the position of Deputy Editor at the Nigerian Tribune. He served as State Correspondent in Ekiti and Rivers States and later as lead Senate Correspondent in Abuja.
In May 2020, he founded Newscoven.com, a digital news platform delivering journalism in the new media space.
The campaign council said the appointments take immediate effect as the APM prepares for its governorship campaign in Oyo State.
