Fast rising Afrobeat singer and songwriter Folarin Odunlami, well known as Fola, has melted hearts online after surprising his mother with a brand-new car, fulfilling the second of two major promises he made to her.

The “Catharsis” crooner shared the heartwarming moment on Snapchat, revealing that the surprise came after he asked his mother what she wanted when things began to fall into place for him.
According to Fola, his mother told him that she wanted her own church building and a specific car.
He explained that he was grateful to God for giving him the opportunity and resources to fulfil both wishes.
In the video, Fola’s mother appeared overwhelmed with excitement as she admired the new car and celebrated the thoughtful gesture from her son.
The emotional moment saw the mother and son share a warm and heartfelt hug as she expressed her joy.
Sharing the video, Fola wrote: “When things started to align, I randomly asked my mother what she wanted and she said she wanted her own church building and this specific car. I thank God for keeping this running long enough for me to say I’ve done both things.”
