A United Kingdom court has adjourned the plea and trial preparation hearing of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, to February 2027 after he failed to enter a plea.

According to a report by BBC News Pidgin published on Tuesday, Snaresbrook Crown Court fixed February 8, 2027, for the next hearing.
The case came up on Tuesday, but the charge sheet was not available and Poco Lee did not enter a plea.
BBC News Pidgin reported, “In court, Poco Lee did not appear because the charge sheet was not available. As a result, he did not enter a plea.”
The report added, “However, the pre-trial hearing will now take place on 8 February 2027, and he is expected to enter his plea at that time.”
The trial has also been scheduled for March 8, 2027.

Poco Lee is facing five sexual offence charges in the UK, comprising attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. The charges were confirmed by Snaresbrook Crown Court following his arrest in August.
The Crown Prosecution Service had earlier confirmed that the case remained active and that Poco Lee was due before Snaresbrook Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 15.
The court also confirmed on September 14 that Poco Lee had been granted bail on September 11, ending uncertainty over his custody status.
The case followed Poco Lee’s visit to the UK for the Davido and Friends concert at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14, 2026.
Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, is a dancer, hypeman, MC and entertainer. He gained prominence through dance and became associated with the Zanku and legwork movement.
He has worked with several Nigerian artistes, including Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Zlatan Ibile and Tiwa Savage. He has also released songs including YARD and Otilo.
Poco Lee studied Microbiology at Lagos State University.
The allegations against him have not been determined by the court. He has not been convicted of any offence and remains presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
