Drogba Is My Favourite African Footballer - Mikel Obi

  

Former Captain of the Nigeria Super Eagles, and Trabzonspor midfielder, John Mikel Obi has described Ivory Coast legendary player, Didier Drogba as his favorite African footballer.

Mikel who made this known in an interview with an international correspondent also labeled Real Madrid new signee, Eden Hazard as the laziest player he ever worked with.

John Obi Mikel who throughout his 11 years stay at Chelsea won the Champions League, the Europa League, the Premier League twice and three FA Cups played with Eden Hazard five seasons before he was sold to Tianjin TEDA in 2017.

The 33-year-old also believes Senegal star Player, Saido Mane can win the FIFA Balon d’Or stressing that Lionel Messi is on a very high frequency at the moment.

Also speaking on his fitness level he maintained that he have hope to be well fit by the end of the week, adding that he can’t wait to be back on the pitch.
