FG Releases Another N6.5Billion To Curb Spread Of Corona Virus In Nigeria

The federal government of Nigeria has released an additional fund of Over Six Billion (6.5bn) to the authority of the National Centre for Disease Control in a bid to fight the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. 

Federal government made this known in a tweet by the personal assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad who tweeted the new development on his Twitter handle. 

Ahmad wrote;

The Federal Government is releasing additional N6.5 billion as an emergency intervention to the National Centre for Disease Control (@NCDCGov) as Nigeria intensifies the fight to curb the spread of the #COVID19 in the country, the finance minister has said y’day in Abuja.
