Ibadan Social Group Supports Oyo Government, Distributes Relief Materials To Ibadan Residents

Ibadan Social Group has urged the Residents of Oyo state and Nigerians at large to support government at all levels in the race to contain the spread of the Corona Virus pandemic otherwise known as COVID-19. 

The President of the Ibadan social group, Mr. Oladele Bakare gave this advice while distributing relief materials to one hundred and fifty residents selected from different location in Ibadan, Oyo state capital on Friday. 

Mr. Bakare while commending the state government for its prompt intervention and response towards curtailing the spread of the disease in the state, opined that lager society particularly the well to do must also rise up by contributing their quota at this critical time.

However, he implored residents to take note and obey all precautionary measures, observe social distancing especially in crowded environment and also reach out to the state government via the numbers given out incase they notice anybody who gave symptoms of the disease. 

We further gathered that the ibadan social group had earlier donated Hand Sanitizer and Face Mask to Oyo state government which was received by the Oyo state Commissioner for Health.
