The National Association for Osun State Students (NAOSS), The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter has on Wednesday recorded another notable strides as the association paid a courtesy visit to Honourable representing Ede - South State Constituency in the Osun State House or Assembly, Hon Stephen Olaniran Akanfe Atidade.
NAOSS, An indigenous association for all students of the Polytechnic, Ibadan that hails from all of the thirty (30) local governments in Osun State led by Aare Gbolahan Oluwaferanmi Joshua made this visitation made the courtesy visitation to the Osun State Assembly complex in a bid to bring Student's need to notable Osun indigenes and leaders.
In his address, NAOSS President, Aare Gbolahan Oluwaferanmi maintained that students from different states of the federation especially those that hails from Ọ̀sun State are facing lots of difficulties and problem in the course of achieving their academic goals, adding that the association is meant to be avenue to make students from Osun State feel at home and stand out among their peers.
Aare Gbolahan while revealing his blueprint added that the association administration for this session has taken it as a responsibility to achieve five agendas which is recreating an "Omoluabi Garden", providing stomach infrastructure for students during examination period, organizing a befitting Osun Day, and facilitating a Omoluabi Student Van for easy conveying of Osun students on campus.
Honourable representing Ede South State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Olaniran Akanfe popularly known as Atidade while receiving the guests at the house's parliamentary room extended his sincere appreciation to the delegates for having the best interest of Osun students at mind.
Atidade who noted that supporting the Student's goal is one of of his utmost priority further reiterated his total commitment to supporting the National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) and assisting them in achieving their goals.
He added that the Youths are the leaders of today, adding that getting the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) will further strengthened them in achieving a better Nigeria.
One of the delegates, Com. Azeez Lakunle Dihno in his remark described Hon. Niran Akanfe Atidade as a reputable man of the people who is always ready to assist the Student's community.
The delegation team includes the President, Association of Student Communicators, (ASCOM), The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Com. Ayanboade Kehinde Ademola, Premier, Achievers Club, Com. Olakunle Azeez Dihno, and members of NAOSS Executive Council.
