The Management, Staff and Students of The Polytechnic, Ibadan (TPI) have joined other Nigerians to felicitate and celebrate the Lagos Man of the Year 2022, Dr. Emmanuel Aderemi AWODE as he marks his 59th birthday today, 7th September, 2022.
The Polytechnic, Ibadan in a press statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Theresa Fawale and made available to newsmen by the Director of Public Communications, Alh. Soladoye Adewole describes Dr. Emmanuel Aderemi AWODE, a distinguished Alumnus and Fellow of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has a benefactor of The Institution who has donated generously in terms of facilities and support to the Institution.
The statement noted that Dr. Emmanuel Aderemi AWODE who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chemstar Group, a Lagos based paint manufacturing company is a philanthropist and a proud product of The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
The statement noted that Dr Emmanuel Aderemi AWODE, a Fellow of The Polytechnic, Ibadan is worth celebrating because of the positive effect he has been having on the Institution.
"On yearly basis, he has been offering automatic employment to the best student in Chemistry from the Institution, apart from other graduates that also secure job appointments in his establishment."
