The media Assistant to the Executive Governor of Osun State on Digital communication, Azeez Mao Olakunle Dinho has lauded the proactive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his quality leadership approach to leading the state to greater heights since he assumed the office as the number one citizen of Osun state.
This was disclosed immediately after the Governor releases another 2.1 billion bond certificate to the Osun State contributory pensioners.
On November 27, 2022, when the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke mounted the podium to deliver his Inaugural speech, he announced in his address that the welfare of the workers and the pensioners in Osun State would top the priority of his administration.
It should be recalled that during the campaigns, Senator Ademola Adeleke had been asked on many occasions by pensioners what his administration would do for them if he was elected governor. His response remained consistent that his administration would be committed to the payment of the debt owed to pensioners in unpaid gratuities and pensions gradually until it was paid off.
Aside from over 15 billion that has been released, it is not surprising that on the morning of Thursday, 10th of August, dozens of pensioners were seen heading to the Osun State Secretariat, Osogbo, where another N2.1 billion was released to pay the gratuities, both at the Local government and the state level bringing the total paid by the Osun State Government to over N17 Billion in the last 8 months.
The mood was infectious as these pensioners sang, danced, and prayed for Senator Ademola Adeleke. In his address, His Excellency, Governor Adeleke thanked them for their show of solidarity and support ever since he assumed office. He also informed them that his administration would continue to ensure that their welfare was prioritized. Having served the state for several years, it was their right to be paid their dues promptly.
Governor Ademola Adeleke is a proactive Governor who deserves to be rallied around by all and sundry with the unprecedented developmental strides he has been doing for the betterment of Osun State.
Leadership is the ability to translate useful vision into its reality. The people of Osun state are so lucky to have a proactive Governor like Senator Ademola Adeleke leading the state with various measures of leadership substance across the board.
