The appointment approved by Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde was announced in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
Professor Adebiyi’s Appointment was to serve out the term of the former Chairman, Professor Abiodun Adebowale Ojo, who died last year.
His appointment takes immediate effect.
Governor Makinde however charged the new appointees to discharge their duties with commitment, dedication and loyalty to the state.
The governor also made new appointments to the boards of two other tertiary institutions in the state including the Ladoke Akintola University, and the Abiola Ajimobi Technical University, Ibadan.
He also approved the appointments of nine part-time members into the Oyo State Pilgrims' Welfare Board (Christian Wing).
