JUST IN: Ousted Obasa Returns as Lagos Assembly Speaker

The ousted speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Musashiru Obasa has been re-elected as the speaker of the house.

This development follows the resignation of the speaker, Hon. Mojisola Meranda and her immediate reelection as Deputy speaker of the house.
