JUST IN: Ajewole Reelected CCII President General

The President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, Barr. Ajeniyi Ajewole has been reelected as the President of the apex Ibadan socio-cultural organisation

Ajewole was declared winner after defeating his opponent, Mogaji Samson Olukayode Taiwo in the council election held today Friday.

Recall that Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan earlier today vacated an order stopping the election of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2025.

Naija Metro News had also reported that Justice Ladiran Akintola had on Thursday gave an order stopping the election while ruling on an application brought by a journalist and candidate for the position of CCII Secretary-General, Mr. Adeola Oloko.

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) is an umbrella body for all the socio-cultural societies/clubs of Ibadan extraction both at home and in diaspora.
