Legendary Fuji music icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, widely known as K1 De Ultimate, has broken his silence on the recent controversy surrounding his marriage to his wife, Emmanuella.
The buzz began when anonymous blogger alleged trouble in the singer’s home, claiming that Emmanuella had been sent packing and had left on a solo vacation. The post further fueled speculation that K1 was preparing to take a new wife in her place shortly after he was seen reconnecting with Afrobeats star, Davido.
However, in a recent exclusive with journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, K1 clarified the situation, choosing not to disclose private details but affirming that his focus remains on his career and ongoing major projects.
He reassured fans that his marriage to Emmanuella is intact, stating the only challenge they’ve had revolves around setting boundaries and expectations within their union.
According to him, he advised Emmanuella to invest more attention in her personal business, as he is doing the same in his own endeavors.
Addressing the swirling rumours about taking a new wife, K1 debunked the claims, reiterating that he has no intention of marrying anyone else. He emphasized that Emmanuella remains his one and only wife, stressing that his previous spouse, Titi Marshal, is no longer in the picture.
In a follow-up portion of the interview, he also dismissed a viral video that had sparked speculation about another woman, maintaining that there is no truth to those claims.
The veteran musician’s response comes after online whispers suggested tension between Emmanuella and Titi Marshal, especially following the events of his mother’s burial.
