State Assembly Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader Resign

In a significant political development within the Ondo State House of Assembly, Deputy Speaker Abayomi Akinruntan and Majority Leader Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi have resigned from their leadership positions.


Akinruntan attributed his resignation to recent political power-sharing agreements, although specific details were not disclosed.


Following their exit, the Assembly has moved swiftly to fill the vacant positions. 


Ololade Gbegudu has been named the new Deputy Speaker, while Olatunji Oshati has been appointed as the Majority Leader.
