JUST IN: Senator Natasha Finally Gain Entry Into National Assembly on Foot

Natasha

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has entered the National Assembly complex in Abuja on foot, following an initial denial of access by security personnel.

Despite a standing six-month suspension by the Senate, the Kogi Central lawmaker had insisted on resuming plenary duties, citing a recent court ruling that reportedly directed her reinstatement.

However, her convoy was barred from accessing the premises during her first attempt.

The senator, riding in a black vehicle, was halted at the gate by security operatives.

Also denied entry was a car ahead of hers, which conveyed activist Aisha Yesufu, who had previously vowed to accompany Natasha into the chambers.

Unfazed by the blockade, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan later stepped out of her vehicle and walked into the National Assembly premises, trailed by a group of supporters.
