The burial arrangements for the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Frederick Akinloye Iyanda Owolabi Olakulehin, have been released


The revered monarch, who passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the age of 90, will be laid to rest on Friday, August 8, following a week-long series of events in his honour.


According to a programme of events obtained by newsmen, the obsequies will commence on Monday, August 4, 2025, and run through Friday, August 8, 2025.


The events include a range of sporting competitions and religious services, reflecting Oba Olakunlehin’s lifelong commitment to unity, youth development, and service to the people of Ibadan and Oyo State.
