JUST IN: JAMB Orders Candidates to Re-Upload 2025 WAEC Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates who submitted their O-level results before the release of the final 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results to revisit accredited centres and upload their results again.

In a statement released in its weekly bulletin on Monday, JAMB explained that all previously uploaded results have been removed from its system to prevent inconsistencies and ensure that only the final WAEC results are used for admission processing.

The board highlighted that some candidates who registered for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) while their results were still “awaiting” had uploaded incomplete WAEC records ahead of the official release.

“To resolve this, JAMB has required every affected candidate to perform a fresh upload of their results, regardless of whether the final results differ from what was previously submitted,” the statement read.

Candidates are urged to promptly update their 2025 SSCE results on the JAMB portal to maintain eligibility for university admission.

A JAMB official said, “This measure is crucial to ensure fairness and accuracy in the admission process.”
