Popular Nigerian Reality show star, Josephina Otabor fondly known as Phyna, has publicly called out billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote and the Dangote Group over an incident involving a company truck that allegedly crushed her sister.
Phyna in a post online accused the company of instructing the Nigerian police to remove the plate number from the truck involved in the accident.
She further claimed that one of Dangote’s managers was scheduled to visit the police station handling the case, questioning why no representative had reached out to see her sister first.
Expressing her anger, the former Big Brother Naija winner warned that the truck and its driver should not be released from custody. She vowed to pursue justice, stating in pidgin:
“DEAR @ALIKO_DANGOTEGCON @DANGOTEGROUP FROM ALL THAT HAS HAPPEN YOU DECIDED TO RATHER TELL THE NIGERIAN POLICE TO REMOVE THE PLATE NUMBER ON THE TRUCK THAT CRUSH MY SISTER. AND ALSO ONE OF YOUR MANAGERS IS GOING TO THE STATION TOMORROW. WHAT HAPPENED TO SEEING MY SISTER FIRST? IF THAT TRUCK AND YOUR DRIVER SHOULD LEAVE THAT STATION!!! I WILL BE RIGHT BACK I’M ATTENDING TO MY SISTER FIRST NA MONEY YOU GET YOU NO BE GOD. BUT MY GOD IS BIGGER. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH UNA DON TOO CHO PEOLE BUT YOU SEE THIS??? AHHHH”
At the time of writing, the Dangote Group has not issued an official statement regarding the allegations.
