Reason I Married Early - Skitmaker MC Remote Makes Emotional Revelation

Popular Nigerian Skitmaker, MC Remote has shared motivations behind his 2020 marriage in an interview with Chude Jideonwo. 

The talented content creator noted that that growing up without a mother left a significant void in his life, often making him feel isolated.

He explained that his wife, whom he had been in a relationship with since 2016, became a key source of support and comfort, helping to fill the emptiness he had experienced.

He said: “I got married between 2020 and 2021. The reason is simple: I grew up without a mother, so I was often alone. I had been dating my wife since 2016.

“She’s been like a mother figure to me. She’s always there, supportive in ways I never experienced before. I remember once she gave me just N1,000, and it almost brought me to tears. It wasn’t about the money itself, but it made me reflect on my life.

“That day, I didn’t want to pocket it immediately because I really needed it. But at the same time, I realized that she’s the only person who truly understands me and can stand by me. For someone to handle me the way she does… I sometimes feel like even I don’t fully understand myself.”
