Superstar Nigeria music sensation, Simi has requested for the sanctioning of the airport staff who released indecent video of Ibom air passenger, Comfort Emmanson.
The “Joromi” crooner in an opinion shared on her Instagram stories noted that someone recorded Comfort being forcefully ejected from the aircraft after being indecently exposed and went on to release the video unedited.
The singer argues that if we are treating one “madness,” punishing Comfort, we must also not forget to sanction the indecent exposure of the officer as well.
She wrote; “So let's say the lady is actually mad and did too much... Someone recorded her being dragged off the plane, Recorded her being exposed like that AND THEN POSTED IT without editing out this exposure or
blurring it out.
“Lol. I personally wanna know who posted that video and why no one is holding him/her accountable.
“Because aunty will face the law, but voluntarily posting her half naked for millions of people to see when less than 10 people actually witnessed it in the first place deserves punishment too.”
Much as I understand and would with Simi on this, can Simi and other female influencers talk, sensitize, enlighten and start instilling some moral decency into female folks on the need to dress moderate at all times.
