Star Actor Blasts Lagos Churches for Reserving Front Seats for Latecomers

Charles Ugochukwu

Star Nigerian Nollywood actor, Charles Ugochukwu has criticized certain practices in Lagos churches for some practices.

He expressed disapproval of the common trend where the best seats are reserved for latecomers.

Ugochukwu questioned why early arrivals are often directed to the back while those who come in late are welcomed at the front, calling the practice unfair.

He added that this approach can be discouraging for members who make the effort to attend church on time.

“You say service starts at 9am, but you reserve the first three rows of seats for people who stroll into church at 10:30am. Meanwhile, those who showed up at 8:30am (thirty minutes before service time) are made to sit behind. Please make it make sense.” he said.
