The Shooting Stars Sport Club (3SC) of Ibadan will today, Sunday, welcome arch-rival, Ikorodu City FC ìn the anticipated matchday 3 of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
Naija Metro News can recall that the Ibadan-based club played a 1-1 draw in Benin against old rival, Bendel Insurance in their second match and first away game of the season.
Ikorodu City was a thorn in 3SC's flesh last season as the Lagos-based club secured 4 points in both legs against Oluyole Warriors.
Aweroro, who took charge earlier this year, continues to stamp his high-intensity style on the team, with belief growing among supporters that his restructuring will soon deliver results.
All fingers crossed as the new 3SC faces Ikorodu City FC today at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan by 4:00pm.
