Hilda Baci’s Giant Pot Arrives Lagos Ahead of Jollof Rice Cook-a-thon

Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci has taken delivery of the massive pot as she prepared to cook the world’s biggest pot of jollof rice.

 

The massive red pot, which has a volume of 22,619 litres, was fabricated in Gbagada and was transported overnight to Eko Hotel in Lagos, the venue of the event.

 

Videos online show the pot branded with Gino being delivered under tight supervision.

 

In a post on Instagram, Hilda confirmed its arrival, saying: “At 4am this morning our pot was safely transported from Gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko Hotel where the event is taking place. I’m still pinching myself this is actually happening in less than 24 hours.”
