Ex Big Brother Naija star and media personality, Tacha has called out content creators for repeatedly criticising Lagos State’s infrastructure.
The reality star described their behaviour as hypocritical, arguing that they act as though Lagos is the only state in Nigeria.
Tacha challenged them to showcase the upscale neighbourhoods in their own states instead of focusing solely on Lagos.
“Everyday it’s Lagos this, Lagos that! You’d think Lagos is the only state in Nigeria. Post a ‘highbrow’ area in your own state and you’ll disappear. Many of you don’t even know your local government chairman,” she wrote on X while reacting to a viral clip highlighting poor drainage in a posh Lagos area.
Her comments came after a recent uproar sparked by NYSC member Ushie Uguamaye (Raye), influencer Scott Iguma, and comedian Acapella, who all claimed that Lagos “smells.”
In response, Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, dismissed the allegations, accusing certain individuals of deliberately trying to damage the state’s reputation.
