Priscilla (Ojo) Mkambala and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, have officially dedicated their son, Rakeem, in an Islamic ceremony held in Tanzania.
Videos from the special occasion have made their way online amassing many reactions from well wishers.
Recall that the couple welcomed their baby boy just over a month ago in Canada, where he was born.
Shortly after, Priscilla shared clips of her journey back home to reunite with her husband. Since then, she has kept fans updated with glimpses of Rakeem’s nursery and heartwarming moments of Juma embracing fatherhood.
In one of the circulating videos, Priscilla appeared radiant in a stunning blue lace outfit, while her husband was seen being dressed for the ceremony. Juma later matched his son in a coordinated outfit as the father-and-son duo posed for photos.
The event also had notable appearances, including actress Iyabo Ojo and her son Festus, both dressed in traditional Muslim attire. Iyabo’s mother, fondly called Queen Mother, was also present with her head covered for the occasion.
Several members of Juma Jux’s family, including his mother, sister, and other close relatives, gathered in the living room as they awaited the ceremony. At one point, Iyabo Ojo entertained the camera by making playful faces, leaving Festus laughing at her humor.
