TETFUND BOT Member, Adepoju Showers Encomium on Ibadan Poly Management Over Effective Project Execution

A member of the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Honourable Sunday Adepoju, has commended the management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, for the effective execution and management of TETFUND-sponsored projects within the institution.


The citadel of learning’s Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Soladoye Adewole, in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, noted that Adepoju made this commendation when he led a TETFUND delegation to monitor ongoing and completed projects at The Polytechnic, Ibadan.


Adepoju, a former two-term member of the House of Representatives who represented Ido and Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, praised the Acting Rector of the institution, Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi, for his commitment to transparency and quality delivery in the execution of TETFUND projects.


“I am very impressed with the quality of work I’ve seen. There are no abandoned projects. The buildings are being properly monitored, and everything is in good shape,” Hon. Adepoju said. “The Polytechnic, Ibadan has always been at the forefront of technological development, producing graduates who are excelling in various fields of human endeavor.”




The TETFUND BOT member also appreciated the management of the institution for decorating him as an Ambassador of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, recalling that he earned his National Diploma (ND) from the school in 1984. He assured the management that funds approved for the maintenance of some facilities would be released soon to ensure their continued upkeep.


In his response, the Acting Rector, Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi, thanked Hon. Adepoju for his confidence in the institution’s management and his commitment to advancing tertiary education in Nigeria.


Dr. Lasisi pledged that under his leadership, the institution would continue to uphold excellence and meet the expectations of its proprietor and stakeholders.
