We Will Govern 30 States by 2027 – APC

An APC chieftain and Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Folorunsho Aluko, has expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will gain control of at least six more states before the 2027 general elections.

Aluko made the projection on Thursday during the PGF Quarterly Strategy Meeting for Information Commissioners from APC-led states, held in Maiduguri, Borno State.

According to him, the ruling party is on course to consolidate its dominance across the country by building stronger coordination between state and federal governments.

“We are confident that the PGF will expand from the current 24 states to no fewer than 30 before the end of 2027,” Aluko declared. 

“This optimism is not wishful thinking; it is backed by strategy, alignment, and the confidence of Nigerians in our vision.”

He explained that the APC is refining its communication and governance approach to reflect transparency, measurable impact, and national unity.

“Our message across APC states is one of renewed hope and purposeful governance. We are aligning our actions with the federal government’s developmental agenda while ensuring that every initiative delivers real results,” Aluko added.

The PGF boss also underscored the importance of consistency and integrity among state officials, stressing that effective coordination and shared vision remain critical to sustaining public trust.

“As we approach 2027, our focus is clear, to strengthen the party’s structure, serve with integrity, and maintain the confidence of the Nigerian people,” he said.

The PGF, which serves as a policy and strategy hub for APC governors, currently represents 24 states across Nigeria. 

If Aluko’s projection comes true, the party would further consolidate its political dominance ahead of the next election cycle.
