Popular Nigerian comedian, actor and activist, Mr. Macaroni has slammed the government over the worsening insecurity in the country, describing it as “useless and irresponsible”
In a fiery post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Mr. Macaroni, who called for on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign, expressed frustration over recent attacks across Nigeria, including the kidnapping of school children and the killing of a military general.
He wrote:
“This is a very useless and irresponsible government feasting on the blood of innocent Nigerians! As in I don’t understand, school children have been kidnapped, a general killed, and everything is fine??? Why should any part of this country be occupied by terrorists? In any civilized country, Tinubu should resign!”
Known for his fearless stance on social issues, Mr. Macaroni highlighted the government’s inability to protect citizens and questioned why parts of the country remain under the control of terror groups.
He also challenged President Tinubu’s promises to end insecurity, pointing out the apparent lack of progress since his election.
