If DNA Reveal Child Isn’t Mine, I’ll Still Accept – Actor Rotimi Salami

Ace Nigerian Nollywood actor, Rotimi Salami has discussed his views on paternity and DNA testing and how he would react to the result.

The actor stated he would continue to embrace a child even if a DNA test showed the child was not biologically his.

Salami, who made this known in an interview with BBC Yoruba, Salami emphasized that the emotional bond developed while raising a child is more important than biology. 

He said, “If a DNA test shows the child isn’t mine, but I have raised the child from infancy and the child knows me as their father, I would fully accept them as my own.

“The child will always carry my name and see me as their father, because they had no role in creating themselves. Any concerns would remain between me and my wife.”
