Former Governor Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has reiterated his earlier claim that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is plotting to remove the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja.
Naija Metro News had reported that Fayose made the allegation over the weekend where he warned the Governor to desist from what could malign the city’s traditional system.
Fayose, in a fresh post on his X account on Tuesday, however insisted that recent developments support his claims.”
“Those who are still in doubt about Governor Seyi Makinde’s plot to remove the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, should just keep their fingers crossed and follow unfolding events.
“Recall that they denied any rift between the Olubadan and Makinde after I made it public.
“But now, they are accusing the Olubadan of plotting to impeach Governor Makinde. They are also releasing statements accusing the Olubadan of being partisan.
“These are part of the orchestration by Makinde to prepare the ground for the Olubadan to be queried for being partisan,” Fayose wrote.
