In a statement issued by the Asiwaju of Ijesaland and Chairman of the ICDA, Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, the late monarch was remembered as a symbol of unity, cultural preservation, and progressive leadership within Esa-Oke and the wider Ijesaland.
The assembly noted that Oba Adediran served as a custodian of culture and a bridge between tradition and modernity. His reign was characterized by dignity, wisdom, and a commitment to peace, unity, and development.
"Kabiyesi was a monarch of quiet strength and thoughtful leadership, whose presence brought stability and reassurance in times of communal challenges," the statement read.
The ICDA recognized the late monarch's contributions outside the palace, including his support for education, social harmony, and community development, which reinforced the relevance of traditional institutions. His passing is considered a significant loss to both Esa-Oke and the entire Ijesaland.
Condolences were extended to the royal family, the people of Esa-Oke, the Obokun Local Government Traditional Rulers Council, the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, and the people of the region both at home and in the diaspora. The assembly offered prayers of strength for the bereaved and for the repose of the monarch's soul.
