Police Nab Four Suspects Over Criminal Activities in Ibadan

Operatives of the Oyo State Police Command have arrested four suspects over various criminal activities.

The Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Olayinka Ayanlade, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday noted that the suspects were arrested in Ibadan, the state capital.

Ayanlade said the suspects are members of a cult group that has been terrorising residents of Ibadan.

The suspects, according to the police, are Salawu Sarafa, Yusuf Tajudeen, Farouq Ariyo and Adebayo Awosemo.

He added that the police recovered some items as exhibits from the suspects who re currently in police custody.

“Acting swiftly on the actionable intelligence, the operatives mobilised to the location and successfully apprehended four suspected members of the gang, namely: Salawu Sarafa, Yusuf Tajudeen, Farouq Ariyo and Adebayo Awosemo.”
