Broda Shaggi was allegedly hurt in March while filming near the Sango-Ota Bridge.
He was initially taken to a hospital in Lagos' Alakuko district before being transferred to another institution in Ikeja.

Since the tragedy, the skit maker has mostly avoided the public spotlight, leaving admirers waiting for an update on his health.

However, in a recent statement posted on his WhatsApp channel, Broda Shaggi praised his admirers for keeping loyal to him during his absence.

He said that he had not been able to engage with his fans as much as he had hoped, but that their continuing support had helped him get thru what he described as a difficult time.

"To everyone who's still here waiting, checking in, showing love, and holding me down even thru the silence, thank you," he said.

Broda Shaggi stated that he was not yet ready to tell what he had been thru, but assured his admirers that he had not forgotten them.

"I wish I could tell you everything right now, but I cannot. "Not yet," he replied.

The comedian also hinted at a comeback to the spotlight, stating that he would be stronger and ready to reunite with his fans.

"I hope that day arrives soon. And when it does, I swear I'll be back better, stronger, and ready to make up for lost time," he added.

Broda Shaggi closed the speech by thanking those who continued to support him.

"Thanks for staying. Thank you for your patience with me. "Thank you for still being here," he said.

For the time being, the comedian has kept the details of his experience private, but his message hints that he may be returning to the entertainment industry soon.
