According to the group, the invitation extended to VeryDarkMan reflects the Police leadership's resolve to ensure that every allegation is subjected to lawful investigation rather than trial by public opinion or social media.

"We commend the Inspector-General of Police and the Force Criminal Investigation Department for taking a measured and lawful approach to the matter. This action reinforces public confidence that no individual is above investigation, while also ensuring that no officer is condemned without credible evidence and due process," the statement read.

The coalition stressed that allegations of misconduct against public officers should always be thoroughly and objectively examined, urging investigators to critically scrutinize every claim and establish the facts before reaching any conclusions.

It warned against attempts to influence ongoing investigations through media campaigns, noting that justice can only be served when investigations remain impartial and evidence-driven.

Expressing confidence in AIG Moshood Jimoh, the group described him as an accomplished police officer whose career has been defined by discipline, professionalism, courage, and unwavering commitment to national service.

According to the coalition, AIG Jimoh's rise through the ranks of the Nigeria Police Force is a testament to years of hard work, competence, and dedication to duty.

"AIG Moshood Jimoh is widely respected as a committed, hardworking, and formidable officer who has earned every promotion through diligence and exemplary service. His professional record speaks for itself, and many Nigerians who have followed his career know him as an officer of integrity and exceptional leadership."

The group stated that while it supports the ongoing investigation, it believes the senior police officer's service record provides every reason to remain confident in his integrity.

"We have absolute confidence that the investigation will be fair, objective, and guided solely by facts. We believe AIG Moshood Jimoh will fully cooperate with investigators and ultimately emerge victorious because truth has a way of prevailing."

The coalition urged Nigerians to allow the investigative and judicial processes to run their full course without prejudice, emphasizing that both the complainant and the officer involved deserve fairness under the law.

It further called on citizens to exercise restraint in their public commentary and avoid spreading unverified information capable of undermining confidence in public institutions.

The group reaffirmed its support for the Nigeria Police Force's commitment to accountability, insisting that strengthening institutions requires balancing transparency with fairness and respect for due process.

"We stand firmly for justice, accountability, and the rule of law. We commend the Nigeria Police Force for its professional handling of this matter and remain confident that a thorough examination of the facts will vindicate AIG Moshood Jimoh and reinforce public trust in our institutions," the statement concluded.
