Veteran Nollywood actor Peter Fatomilola has recounted how comedian and content creator Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, paid him N1 million for a single scene in a movie featuring veteran actor Pete Edochie.

Fatomilola shared the experience in an interview with Africa List, recalling how he met Mr Macaroni after a movie shoot in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He said, “Mr Macaroni saw me on set one day, I just finished the two scenes I was called for and he escorted me to my car, he offered to give me fuel money and handed me 200k. Even the person that called me for job for those two scenes only gave me 50k. Macaroni still called me for another job with Pete Edochie another day and gave me 1 million Naira for just a scene”
Fatomilola has had a long career in theatre, television and film. He began his professional theatre career in 1967 with the Olokun Theatre Group led by the late Professor Ola Rotimi.
He later worked with Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka and spent several years teaching at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, where he studied Theatre Arts.
The actor is known for his roles in productions including Sango, Saworoide, Rise of the Saints, King Invincible, Super Story and Papa Ajasco.
Fatomilola also played the original Papa Ajasco character in the popular television series.
In 2022, he marked 55 years on stage at an event held at Oduduwa Hall, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.
