Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointment of the NUJ New Media Chapel scribe, Mr Dapo Falade, as Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation, alongside 11 others.

The governor also appointed Ms Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa as Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation, while Pastor Akin Alamu, immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and former member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, was appointed a member of the Oyo State Elders’ Council.
Mr Elijah Kolawole Akanmu was appointed Special Adviser on Housing and Board Member of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, while Mr Sakariya Mohammed Taofik was named Special Adviser on Rural Development.
The appointments were contained in letters signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, Ph.D.
Other appointees are Mr Yinka Oladoyinbo, Executive Assistant on Information and Orientation; Hon Seun Adelore, Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters; and Hon Gbenga Adewusi, former Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council, Executive Assistant, Sports Commission.
Also appointed are Mr Ogundele Quadri, Special Assistant on Urban Development; Elder Olawale Olugbenga, JP, Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism; and Mr Ibrahim Abayomi, Executive Assistant, Works.
Governor Makinde charged all the newly appointed officials to carry out their duties with dedication, commitment and loyalty to the people and government of Oyo State.
The appointments take immediate effect.
